Ruth Bronson, born May 12, 1924, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the age of 92. She was a resident of Albuquerque for 44 years. She was married to Hubert (Barney) Bronson for 74 years. She was the former chairman of the Albuquerque Garden Center, a former president of the Albuquerque Gem and Mineral Society, a former president of the Albuquerque Master Gardeners’ organization and the former president of the New Mexico Mycology Society.
She is survived by her husband and her three children, Richard, Charlotte and Bruce; five grandchildren, Esther Kumi, Francis Gaita, Ruth Duren, Kimberly Bronson and Richard Bronson, II; 10 great-grandchildren and one sister, Alice Babcock.
Graveside Services for family and friends will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
