Obituary for Terry Allen Conger

Terry Allen Conger, 61, of Rio Rancho, NM entered heaven Thursday, February 23, 2017, in Albuquerque, NM following a long valiant struggle with health issues. He was born February 26, 1955, in Port Huron, MI to Herbert Conger and Dorothy Sheffield Conger. Terry spent eight years in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne. Following his honorable discharge, he served as Chaplain to the Zia Paralyzed Veterans of America and Chaplain to the Sandoval County Detention Center. He served as the pastor of various nursing home ministries for the last 24 years. Terry was ordained to the Gospel Ministry October 26, 2001.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Herbert. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Conger; sisters, Vicky White, Pamela Sherman (Chuck); brothers, Steven Conger and David Conger (Nancy); wife Janet Conger; daughter Celina; son Caleb; and two grandchildren, Natalie and Emily.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at the FRENCH – Rio Rancho. interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
